were blue?

 Solution:

UPQ395-1

            The fraction of his shirts were blue = 4/7 × 1/6 = 2/21

Alternative solution:

            By using Math Model

3/7 fraction of the total were green marbles

            The remaining marbles in fraction = 1 – 3/7 = 4/7

4/7 fraction of the total will need to subdivided to 24 portions

1/6 fraction of the remainder is 4 portions and equal to blue marbles
