Hairu and Fatimah had 24 stickers altogether. After Hairu gave Fatimah 5 stickers, they had same number of stickers. How many stickers did Fatimah have at first?

 Solution:

            Hairu and Fatimah finally had the same number of stickers and the total number of stickers remained the same

            The math model,

 

 

            Per the above model,

            2 units = 24

            1 unit = 12 stickers

            The number of stickers Fatimah had at first = 12 – 5 = 7
