Sarin is 12 years old now. In 3 years’ time, his mother will be 3 times his age. How old is Sarin’s mother now?
Solution:
Sarin’s age after 3 years = 12 + 3 = 15 years old
His mother will be 15 × 3 = 45 years old in 3 years time
His mother is 45 – 3 = 42 years old now
